A taste of summer…

Oh, how I miss the summer! I long for the sweet rays of the sun to caress my skin, the freshness in the air. I think I need to raise my serotonin a little, so I made this frutilicious smoothie to cheer me up.

(make sure to use organic produce)
1 apple
1 cup of Strawberries
1 Passion Fruit
1 Banana
1 cup of green grapes
1 cup of Water

Mix everything together in a high speed blender.

Are you a chocoholic? Then this smoothie is something for you. Loaded with proteins and healthy fats this will satisfy your chocolate cravings.

1/2 cup of soaked macadamia nuts
1 tbsp of RAW cocoa powder
1 banana
3 dates
1 cup of water

Mix everything together in a high speed blender until it’s creamy and smooth.

Freshness in a glass

Energy Boost Smoothie

Are you feeling tired around 3 o’clock? Need an energy boost so you can make it to dinner?
Here is a great smoothie to help balance your energy. (see recipe below)
2 tsp Raw Tahini (simple to make, see a recipe here)
1 cup of organic green grapes
1 organic pear
1/2 cup of cold water

Mix everything together in your blender.

This drink is refreshing and so filling. Definitely one of my favorite afternoon snacks.

Hello there, soon to be spinach lover.
We all know that Popeye made himself super strong by eating spinach, but did you know that he may also have been helping to protect himself against inflammatory problems, oxidative stress-related problems, cardiovascular problems, bone problems, and cancers at the same time? Yes the benefits of spinach are many.
So why not start a healthy habit and start drinking green smoothie daily. Your body will thank you!
Here is a simple green smoothie recipe to get you started.

1 cup of organic coconut water (or plain water)

Strawberry Delight

Oh how I love this delicious berry! Eating (drinking) fruits has never been as easy as it is since I created this recipe.
This smoothie is full of Potassium, Vitamin C and Antioxidants and it will give you that extra energy that you need to be your fabulous self!

1 tangerine (optional for extra Vitamin-C )
1 cup of organic coconut water

Rejuvenation Smoothie

This is what I drank after my water fast. The cucumber is one of my favorite veggies. It’s delicious, nutritious and good for my belly. Did you know that cucumber contains lariciresinol, pinoresinol, and secoisolariciresinol, three lignans that reduce risk of cardiovascular disease as well as several cancer types, including breast, uterine, ovarian, and prostate cancers. Cucumber also has anti-inflammatory properties, it’s freaking amazing right? I also added grapes to this smoothie. Grapes are full of nutrients and taste divine. Try this smoothie if your easing out or in to a fast, or if you just want something delicious and refreshing. (see recipe below)


1 organic cucumber (peal it if you prefer a smoother taste, but remember there are lots of nutrients in the peal)
1 cup of grapes
1 cup of water

Mix everything in your blender. Do this often and your body will thank you!
