Kale sweet Kale

I’ve been waiting for the Kale season to kick in for a long time now.
In Sweden Kale is popular during the Holidays, that means that EVERY grocery store carries Kale this time of year, and they usually have organic kale too. So It’s an understatement to say that I’m overdosing on Kale these days. I’m basically starting my day with a Kales smoothie and ending it with Kale chips from the dehydrator.


Here is the recipe of my morning smoothie.

3 big leaves of Kale
1 Banana
1 Orange
1 Cup of water
5 mint leaves

Mix everything together in a high speed blender and use some berries as a topping.

Enjoy this delicious green smoothie in the morning and you will fell like you have energy to move mountains.

Good Morning Sunshine

I love morning rituals and routines. Starting you day off right affects so many things. Every morning I make sur to write and set my intentions for the day, I meditate and I make sure to drink a wonderful nutritious smoothie. Here is one of my favorite ones. It’s full of vitamins and helps boost my immune system. I call it Good Morning Sunshine.

1 orange
2 cups of pineapples
1/2 inch of turmeric
1/2 inch of ginger
1 1/2 cup of coconut water

2-3 mint leaves for decoration (optional)

Mix everything smooth in a high speed blender.
Enjoy and stay radiant!

Did you know that fruits help boost your serotonin levels? It’s true! This delicious and creamy smoothie makes all my cells smile and it doesn’t hurt that it tastes divine. Prepare to radiate your love on the International Day of Happiness, start with the inside!

1 Cup of Strawberries (preferably frozen)

1/2 Cup of raspberries or other berries

1 Big ripe banana

1 Cup of Almond milk

1 Tbsp Hemp seeds

Mix everything together in your blender until it’s smooth. Use some berries and seeds as topping. If you have a sweet tooth and/or need an extra serotonin boost, add 2 soft dates to your smoothie.

This smoothie is very filling and it will make your tastebuds dance.

Eat your fruits dear!

When I was a child, grownups always told me that fruits where better than candy. I didn’t fully believe them, because I had not yet tried this smoothie.
This is waaaay better than any candy I have ever had and it’s so good for you!!

2 ripe medium peaches
1 Banana
1 cup of Almond milk
1/2 cup of raspberries
2 dates (if you like it sweet)

Mix everything until smooth in a high speed blender. Use your favorite topping to boost your smoothie. I often use different seeds and berries.

I hope this will satisfy your sweet tooth.

Eating Right?

Usually when you have bodily issues people ask you, are you eating right?
Personally I don’t believe that there is one way that fits all, but I definitely believe that we have a personal right or wrong way. The trick is to figure out what works for you!

I thrive on a Plantbased Vegan diet, and of course I advocate this way of living due to it’s numerous health benefits, the fact that it doesn’t hurt this planet, and that it promotes equal rights for all living beings.

I used to be very sick, and I’m still struggling with some weight issues due to some chemical unbalances, but this way of living is really helping me to balance my body and mind, and it brings my soul peace. People often ask me what I eat, so I thought I would share a picture and some recipes of what I eat.

A Sallad. 
This one is really simple.

1 Yellow Bell pepper diced
A bunch of lettuce
1 Avocado
1/2 Apple (I usually don’t mix fruit and veggies, but made an exception here)
1 carrot that I pealed with a potato peeler
6 cocktail tomatoes
3 inches/ 8 cm of cucumber
1 TBS Chia Seeds as a topping

5 sun dried tomatoes
1 tomato
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 TBS Olive oil
Some fresh oregano and basil to taste
1 pitch of salt and pepper
Mix everything smooth in a high speed blender or food processor.

Sometime I add a smoothie to the meal.

Blueberry Pudding. Well, I was extra hungry and in the mood for blueberries this day, but you can use any berries in this recipe.

1/2 cup of buckwheat (soaked for 30 min and thoroughly rinsed)
1 TBS of coconut cream (you can make this by mixing coconut flakes in a high speed blender until they turn creamy) or use optional nut or seed butter.
1 cup of berries
1 banana
2 TBS coconut nektar or agave

Mix everything smooth in your blender. Serve with 1 TBS hemp seeds and some berries as a topping .

Turmeric, Nature’s Yellow Gold

My healing process has been long and slow at times. But I really do feel that I’m getting closer to the finish line… Especially since I started drinking smoothies and juices with turmeric.  It makes all my cells radiate and vibrate. Research shows that Turmeric is effective at treating depression, and it may even be more effective than some of the most common anti-depressant drugs currently on the market. Curcumin, a derivative of turmeric, is also known to battle cancer and inflammations. bild 3
I wanted to create a smoothie that was super healthy and still delicious. So I decided to combine turmeric with the Sea buckthorn berry.

This little berry is a real power plant. It protects your heart and makes your skin radiate. So if your looking for a smoothie that will help you stay happy, healthy and glow, look no more.


1 cup of filtered water

1-2 banana (depending on how much sweetness you like, I take 2)

1 cup of Sea buckthorn berries

1 inch of fresh turmeric

Mix everything together in a high speed blender and let the healing begin.

Strawberry fuel

Sometimes I get so caught up in work that I forget to eat. That’s why I cherish my Vitamix more than anything in my kitchen. It literary takes  me less than 5 min to whip up a nutritious and delicious smoothie. This creamy summer drink is one of my favorite smoothies. It tastes like heaven and gives me the fuel I need to continue working.

Mix everything together in a highs speed blender, pour into a tall galss and add your favorite topping.

Live Longer Smoothie

Many try to fight off wrinkles and and other signs of aging with different potions and lotions, it rarely if ever works. The truth is, you will look and feel depending on how you eat. I don’t believe in resisting aging, why should change be bad? I don’t want to look exactly the same when I’m 35 or 45! I want to change, but in a good and healthy way. I believe that we can look better and healthier in 10 years than we do now. How, you ask? Well, the answer is simple by giving our bodies and our mind the proper nourishment.  Are you ready to try it? Start by giving your beautiful temple a healthy nutritious smoothie. I call this one the “Live Longer Smoothie”, it contains blueberries that are full of antioxidants, by many considered a longevity serum.  Blueberries are a true superfood, they contain lots of vitamins and fiber. Here is a list of some of the daily values that 1 cup of these babies contains.

If you want even more antioxidants use some raw cacao nibs as a topping.

Power Smoothie

This beauty is a power smoothie. I call it that because it is both filling and gives you enough energy to tackle whatever task you have in front of you. It is loaded with vitamins, healthy fats and proteins. A great post workout snack or maybe a midday fueler.

1 tbsp Mesquite Powder
Some berries as a topping

Beet Smoothie

I’m in a beet flow at the moment. I eat at least 1-2 raw beets every day.
Did you know that in recent lab studies on human tumor cells, betanin pigments from beets have been shown to lessen tumor cell growth. The tumor cell types tested in these studies include tumor cells from colon, stomach, nerve, lung, breast, prostate and testicular tissue.
How awesome is that?!! If you haven’t tried beets in you smoothie before, the time is now!
1 big beet
1 large sweet apple or 2 small ones
2-3 cm of ginger
1 cup of coconut water

(If you want this smoothie to be even smoother, juice the beet and apple and add a ripe banana)

Peel the beet, then mix everything together in a high speed blender. Remember to use organic and preferably local produce, for the earth and for your beautiful body.
